3rd gen dual HID setup?

Has anyone of you 3rd gen owners ever thought about running dual HIDS?. I was thinking of moving the signals to the corner lights. And perhaps retrofit an HID system into the existing signal housing. But than again the intense heat coming from a HID set would melt the signal housing? I've talked to TV4184 and he thought about using corolla fog light housing and possibly use that to replace the existing signal light housing but than I again im aware of possibly modding the front bumper to accept the corolla fog light housing...

whats your thoughts.

I want the front of my 3rd gen to look like this..

that looks like crap... and your truck is never going to look like a beemer....

anywyas retrofitting is bad, the lights were not designed for that housing and messing with hids in housings not designed for hids produces a ton of stray light and melting of plastic parts....

Well if you retrofit with HID projectors, then you won't have the stray lighting problem. Also with the H4 setup you can retrofit using casper shields and that will minimize the stray light as well. I still like the light output from using HID projectors.

Its a more cleaner solution for the offroader needing more light and not having bulky laps mounted on the bumper...
