3rd gen accessory electric fan

I am curious if the 3rd gen 4Runners ever came with an accessory electric fan in front of the radiator. 2nd gens with the tow package had them and I figured it would be a nice addition while wheeling in 100-degree heat.

no, but you can add one...

wasn't that aux fan just on automatics to help cool them? if that's the case, then just get a hayden trans cooler and install it like about 200 other members here have done. do a quick search and you'll get info...

5-speeds had them too. IIRC, the 1994 owner's manual says it is part of the tow package. I'll try and find one at a salvage yard and throw it on my 3rd gen...looks to be plenty of room.
