3RD Gen 99 4runner Rear D/S window issue-off track
Rear drivers side window is off track as happens. No big deal, however I can't get the window to slide back down into the rubber channel that is pinched inside of the metal holder of the window itself. I saw one tread that showed some grinding and welding and that's more than I have. I'm sure someone knows how to get it back in the guide and I'll feel dumb. Thank you.

There are 2 holding up the rear windows in 4runner tailgates here's what 1 of those looks like and very close to what the ones in the door look like. The black rubber channel pinched inside of the metal is what the glass slides into. However the metal is pinched shut really well and I can't get it to slide back in or for the life of me figure how the hell it came out.

hot soapy water on the window pain and the rubber track with some downward and upward force got it in. What made the window pop out was dummy that had the truck before me decided to throw some Pioneer Walmart speakers with excessively large magnets on them in the door cavity. Window comes down , magnet stops window, track keeps going down without window.
