3rd gear grinds... ? 1988 p/u
Hey, thanks in advance to anyone who would reply... I have a 1988 p/u and when I try to shift from 2nd to 3rd it grinds (as if I am putting it in reverse) ... now I do press the clutch down all the way to the floor (carpet is not in the way) and it still grinds, I have to hit the shifter into 3rd gear when I want it to engage. It does not happen all of the time, maybe once, twice a day (one out of twenty shifts into third).
