Leaky injectors can be I sign that the seal is broken around the injector. If you have a cold start injector and it starts when its cold it makes sense. YOU AREN'T GETTING ENOUGH FUEL IN THE ENGINE WHEN ITS WARM.

I don't know the mileage but, I would guess just replacing the seal. Injectors pull out. GET A MANUAL and do a little research it all will make sense.

EBay is a good place to start looking for a Toyota service manual.

Don't worry about the cold start injector. You know its working because you can start the truck when the engine is cold.

When the engine is warm the cold start injector doesn't need to work.

Most Toyota's last hundreds of thousands miles. The ones that don't make it have had poor or no maintenance, been under water, or just plain abused.

Invest in a manual man. A haynes can be your best friend. It will solve 90% of all problems, or at least let you know whats up so you will not get rapped at the mechanics.

If your injectors are leaky, then not enough gas is getting to the chamber to combust. I am looking in the haynes right this moment. It is fairly simple, but too much to type.

basically....

if it is leaking at the rail there is a delivery pip, grommet ( O ring ) and the injector. If the injector is not on straight or the o ring is bad. Bingo you could probably reach and twist the injectors around a bit and tell if its lined up allright. pull it off and check out the o ring. just go to the hardware or auto place and grab new o-rings. ( new injectors might help generaly too, if you have an ohmeter you should check them too ) You might also wana check fuel pressure, it might be too high. But i bet its just an o ring.

Here are two manuals from Ebay:

Manual 2

Manual 2

Haynes also makes manuals covering fuel injection, computer management systems and emissions.

good luck!

not to be too mean, but the haynes would be a good place for you to start. Ive gotten the impression your relativly new to auto work. The factory manual is great, but the haynes is like 14 bucks and will cover anything a shade tree mechanic would really need, it also is easier to understand. Plus those factory manuals are around 90bucks.

It is a pain sometimes to stop the leaking. My mechanic had a heck of a time and they claimed that they DID use new groments and o rings.

Try the new o-rings (remember to lubricate them with gas before assembly) to see if that fixes it. If it is still leaking wrap a tiny piece of teflon around the ring land (make sure the teflon is only in the ring land not around anything beyond that), then slip the o-ring over it. That should provide a bit more o-ring pressure to seal the leak. If it still leaks then you may need to replace the injector or the fuel rail depending on which is corroded or worn.
