hey guys ...ive been looking into the downey 1.5 inch spacer for the rear for my downey 1.5 HD coils and i dont understand how people end up getting 3 inchs of lift in the front? i just dont know what you 2nd gen owners get 3 inchs out of the front .. i know you can crank the t bars up but me myself wouldnt do it passed 1inch of stock due to ride and safety.. let me know what you guys know or what you guys have seen.. thanks alot ..

I think to get 3 inches on the older style IFS you have to get one of those kits that has tons of brackets and taller steering knuckles. I bought one of those kits for 4 inches years ago but when I learned more about how it works I decided to not install it.

You can probably get 3 inches out of tortion bar cranking but the suspension would be totally topped out all the time and the ride would be all farged up. CV joints and boots wouldn't last long either.
