3.4L Idle issue

About a month ago I replaced the fuel filter thoroughly cleaned the Throttle body, MAF, cleaned the air filter and then reset the computer on the 4Runner and it ran better than the day I got it. A week ago, I noticed that it was idling a little low around 600 rpm in drive.

Today I decided to look at the throttle body to make sure it was still clean and it is. I then disconnected the battery to reset the computer again to see if it helped. Now I get the following rpm readings

In park w/ Air cond.: 900(normal)
In Park w/o air Cond: 500-700
In Drive:400-700

My RPMs are all over the place. I drove about 5 miles on it and when I would come to a complete stop, the rpm would go down to 400 and I would have to give it gas to keep it running.

Anyone have any ideas on what is happening? My $runner has 85,000 miles

not 100% on what 'normal' is but i idle at 600-650 under most conditions (a/c, D, P)
02 2wd

check for any vacuum leaks.

sometimes it takes 50 miles or so of driving for the computer to re-adjust to normal.

I was under the impression that 900 was "normal" for being in park and that around 700 was "normal" for drive with the a/c

I could be wrong though

Honestly, you're numbers look normal. With the AC ON it should have higher idle.

If you're getting a low idle when the engine is warm, (Which is normal), but, is almost stalling out, clean your IAC.

I was thinking that it could be lower due to high temps and high humidity here. It does seem to run better at night.

I do not believe my engine has the IAC. I took off the throttle body last time and cleaned everything I could find that was dirty. I read the write up on how to clean the IAC, but did not see the parts pictured.

I just put some seafoam in the gas tank this evening and will be driving about 200 miles tomorrow so I will see what happens.

Thank for the help
