3.4L cracked head war

I am trying to get a feel for what is causing the 3.4L heads to crack. I have 105K on mine and 40K on the TRD 2nd gen S/C and I had my heads pulled off to see why at start up it ran rough and blew radiator fluid out of the tail pipe. "leaky head gasket" was what I was told, so I bought a Felpro set to replace the Toyota ones. When we pulled the heads off, the gaskets were not great, but there weren't any big signs of leakage. When we looked at the heads we found a crack between the intake and exhaust valve ports on the #3 cylinder, and a smaller crack on the same spot on the opposite head #4 cylinder. I am trying to get Toyota to step up to the plate and put out a recall on the heads, or get TRD to step up to the plate and offer the fuel mods URD is offering to combat cracking the heads. Here is where YotaTech members can help. I am running a poll on the Pirate's board to get an idea as to why the heads are cracking and who to go after to get this issue resolved. Please, if you have ever run into cracked head issues with your 3.4L, visit this site and put in your info: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=298363
Hopefully with your help I can help others get assistance from Toyota to keep these motors running long and strong... to own up to their reputation.
