3.4 timing belt parts list
YES I've searched and came across this thread... https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...crank+seal+3.4.
Here's the list of what I'm ordering so far...
timing belt
water pump
cam seal
thermostat
upper radiator hose (mine is leaking now)
My question: is the crank seal available for the 3.4l on this website? http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...?siteid=214074
The only one I can find is for the 4cyl models. Anything missing from my list?

Besides your list I got:
The tb tensioners (except the hydraulic one) from the dealership in case I needed them. I did that so I could return what I didn't use.
Also got belts, all hoses and antifreeze.
And some blue loc-tite because I wrench like a girl.

I'll have all of the tools necessary from my own former mechanical career; hoever, I'm having a buddy of mine I went to GM mechanic school with who is now working for a Toy dealer to help me with it. I mainly need info reguarding the crank seal from the toyotaparts website. I cannot find the right link to get one other than the 4 cylinder crank seal.

I am ordering all of my T-belt parts from strap22 (PM him on this forum) who is at Toyota of Dallas. Probably the best prices for OEM parts. He also has another name on this sight, which I believe is trdparts4u.com
If you don't wanna go through him, check out Northridge Toyota, which also has an employee that is a popular member on this sight (I think his name is northridgetoyota on this sight).

Mike, I honestly wouldn't worry about the cam/crank seals if this is your first T-belt you're doing on the truck. The Honda and Toyota seals from the factory are very good quality and as long as the vehicle has had the oil changed fairly regularly and the motor hasn't been overheated, the seals should be in good shape until your next timing belt (at that time I would probably consider doing them). Just my $0.02 anyway.

^^ I agree, unless the cam seals are leaking dont worry about them.
When I did mine I also replaced the upper idler pulley and the other idler that the tensioner pushes on. One of them (cant remember wich) was making noises.
