3.4 Idle Speed

I just bought a used '97 Lmtd Runner and as far as I can tell, the thing has been treated with a lot of TLC. 2 questions - hopefully, someone can shed some light... The idle speed is a bit high when warming up... roughly between 1200 - 1800rpm's. Also, even when the engine is at normal operating temp and I come to a stoplight, it will start to rev at the afore mentioned speed, with a light tap on the gas, I can bring it down to between 500 and 750rpm... or what I believe to be normal operating revs... So my question... do I have something wrong with my throttle body? and how can I fix the sichiashun? Is there a simple twist of a bolt to adjust Idle speed?...

Any info would be of huge help...

feel free to email direct... benz@mandala-agency.com
