3.0 replacement writeup

Does one exist? I'll be replacing the 3.0 with an identical one this week. Just wondering if there was any site that gave a step by step process/writeup with pics or something like that. If not, I'll just be :winging" it.

Whew! Been at it for about 3 hrs. Made some headway. I'm inside right now letting the wounds heal. Hahaha. I've almost got the wiring harness completely out of the way of hoisting the engine up. Radiator, fan, shroud, intake mani, are all off and out, as is the hood. Got most all hoses unhooked. Now I just need to get this damn PS pump out of the way so I can bend the wiring harness enough to get it under the A/C lines, as I don't wanna undo them and loose my coolant. Then it's time to hunt down the motor mounts, pull them, and unbolt it from the tranny. I'm sure this is much simpler than what I'll find when I get back out there, but hopefully, if all goes well, i'll pull it tonight or tomorrow.

Just in case you didn't already know... the easiest way to unbolt the engine from the tranny is to take the engine off it's mounts and remove the tranny x-member and both driveshafts, then drop the tranny, transfer case, and engine to the ground in one piece. That way you'll be able to access all the bolts a lot easier. I'm not even sure you can do it any other way. Good luck with everything.
