what is the part number for 2nd generation 4runner, complete assembly tie Rods. I got the number from Mt_goat and read the guy at the dealer the number and he tried to feed me some manure(dale i called u but u didnt answer ) So this is what i'm looking for. The Part number or numbers for the inner and outer tie rods for a 2nd gen 4runner.

the gentleman at the dealer said i needed like 6 parts and they all were around 122 bucks...i said i dont think so. I was quoted 72.06 for tie rod assemblies each, which i'd much rather have, that way I can just take the old off and put the new on.

Anybody know exactly what I need so I can order the parts and be done with it. I'm really looking for the entire Tie Rod assembly, in which case I'd need 2. I don't think the guy at the dealer realizes that u can get them in the full assembly. Any help would be great.

head to your local auto part store and get preices for Moog inner and outer tie rods. The Moogs should cost around $30-$40 each.
