sunroof issues
Look at your sunroof swich, are there any screws you can see anywhere? If not, then you have to pry the bezel off, it just pops straight out. This is ONLY IF YOU DON'T SEE A SCREW! Pop that out and the rest should be no problem.

The only screw I see it througha hold under inside the card holder thing. That screw is big and very hard to turn. I am hesitant to remove it b/c it seems to be more part of the sunroof itself.
The little bessel pops off except for the drivers side. Something(maybe a plug) is holding it on there.
Does anyone have any diagrams of this area?

I broke mine so I know how to do it now. Pull down from the passenger side then slide toward the passenger side. The drivers side does not pull straight down. Yes it is hard to pull but it does come off (only from thr passenger side)

Well damn it! Sorry guys that is they way mine came out for me. I checked for you guys and I can get the bezels to you for my price as an employe, $14.76. I will only charge $5.00 for shipping, which brings you both to $19.76 after shipping. Sorry guys, you know I wouldn't try to intentionally mislead you.

finally....but here's the problem
I finally got my cover off in one piece! It was pretty easy after hearing how to do it. Thanks ya'll. Now my only problem is the switch(maybe) itself. Okay, here is the problem....... THe sunroof will open just fine as if it were brand new. However, when you go to close it, It don't even make an attept to close. No noise or anything! You have to turn the big screw to close the sunroof. It pisses me off b/c the sunroof was a feature that I was looking for when buying my 4runner. It is a '91 if it makes any difference. Hope someone can help. Thanks

I had that problem too it was the contacts inside the switch. I just toggled mine back and fourth like a maniac and it started working. You can also go the hard way by taking the switch apart and using a pencil eraser to clean the contacts. If that's your problem.
