If you've got the right stabilizer, you don't need any brackets. It should fit in the OEM location. Mine did.
Why am I not suprised you got this info from 4Wheel Parts?

yah i know, he also told me i needed a $70 conversion kit to install manual hubs...i tried explaining that with the ADD setup it was a straight conversion but he was just sure that i needed the conversion kit. oh well, i got a good deal on shocks and a free stabilizer with them. thanks for the clarification agrunner.

i recently had a skyjacker steering stabilizer installed and, to my surprise, it needed brackets to mount. i thought it would pop in where the original mounted.
is this a bad thing? they didn't remove the original, either. makes me wonder. if anyone has any experience/expertise/opinions i'd love to hear 'em. thanks!

these pics show how it mounts now. on the "driveside.jpg" one, you can see the oem stabilizer mounting bolt just above...
sorry for the bad pics; took them with my phone.

If it doesn't interfere with anything then it should be fine. I had a Rancho like that for awhile
