285/75/16 MT/R will rub on 4th gen w/ lift
Just wanted to let ya know that if you plan to do any offroading in your lifted 4th gen and 285/75/16 MT/R, you'll experience severe rubbing.
My current configuration:
Downey fronts - 38.5" w/ the 285's (16x8 wheels with 4.5BS).
Downey rear - 38" w/ the 285's (16x8 wheels w/ 4.5BS).
Tested at 20psi.
Front:
Must trim bumper as the bumper will rub. Mudflaps must come off as that is obvious. Trimming the cladding behind the mudflap is required as well. Inner ladder/frame will rub (nothing you can really do about that one).
Rear:
Must trim rear bumper and remove mudflap. Trimming the front of the cladding is also recommended.
If you don't plan to do any offroading, then you shouldn't run into any problems.
