255/85/16's on crolison's rig :D

I sold my old bfg at's for a nice price and stepped up to some Maxxis Bighorns in 255/85/16's this morning, then i removed the mud flaps and trimmed the rear bumper.

What you guys think?

Thanks guys. I love them so far, and can't wait to take them offroad. They do make more noise than the all terrains, but everything else they are fine. I didn't feel much of a power loss and my speedo is only 2mph off.

Oh its my friend's taco, it was swapped on leafs and now being linked front and rear. The front is done, but the rear isn't even started, so its been sitting there for a while.

Love it! It's great to see more skinnies on the road. If I hadn't gotten some alloys for free, I'd have bought 16s and gone with that tire size to.

Thanks guys, i am enjoying them so far, and to think i just wheeled this past weekend, i wish i had them then.

So far they make noise on the highway, but i was expecting that, and they rub on the frame a little at full lock. With 4.56's the 4banger can push them around nicely.

Looking good Chris,

You're going to have to get after those wheel weights with a can of black spray paint, they're not black!

B~

All done with the exhaust work, didn't need the new gasket. All i had to do was remove the old double nutted bolts and put in new ones and tighten it. Now i don't sound like a riced out old 4banger.

They are spare rims off of 3rd gen 4runners. I found them locally at various junkyards/friends.
