22re Timing Chain in Pittsburgh, PA

Does anyone know of a good place to get my chain replaced in Pittsburgh? Someone respectable and not over priced.

thanks

It's really not bad at all to do yourself. I have the FSM procedures for it online, if you need them. It took me a couple of days working on it after school. Putting everything back on right is the hardest part.

Here is the FSM procedure : http://personal.utulsa.edu/~nathan-b.../8timingch.pdf
However, I didn't remove my oil pan or cylinder head. The oil pan would be a major PITA to take off. I figure I'll do it sometime. I know there are probably pieces of the old guides in there, but oh well. If you're careful with the head gasket, you won't have to take off the head and replace it. Use some gasket maker stuff, and you'll be cool. Oh yeah, this is a pretty decent article for how to do it by Roger Brown: http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/CheapTri...ingChain.shtml
If you haven't done anything like this before, maybe enlist the help of a buddy. It is something you can probably do yourself, just go slow and remember where stuff goes. It's not monkey-can-do-it easy, but it's not hard at all. It is something crazy-awful like 1000 bucks to have a mechanic do it, so if you've got a little time, go for it. Good luck
