22re leaking oil

22re leaking oil

on the passenger side of the engine, small slow oil leak. i just had the
oil pressure switch replace by a dealership last week.

i am no mechanic......but......is there anything i can check? i can't tell where it is coming from. do those switches go bad that quick.....maybe defective?

Could be defective, though they usually just don't send a signal... not leak.
Maybe the mechanic boogered it. Right next to the filter right? Is your oil filter leaking? I removed the oilf filter and changed the oil when I replaced my sender.

right....next to the filter.
what is the best way to change the filter on the 22re......from below.....above??
are there any problem areas......pain gasket ? etc.

If it's 4x4 just take the plate off from the pass. side wheel well, and you can get right to it. If it's 2wd then just get it from the bottom. Just need a filter wrench, new oil filter and 4-5 quarts of oil. Don't just change the filter and not the oil. Drain plug is right on the bottom of the pan.
