2003 4Runner Interest Rate/What did you pay for your 2003?

Hey all, I am doing some research rate for a friend who wants to buy a new 4Runner. She is wondering what is the lowest interest rate can she get with "exellent" credit. If anyone who works at a dealership or anyone who just got a new 4Runner could help me out, it would be much appreciated. Also, how much did you pay for your 2003/what kind/options does it have? all of this info is much appreciated!

Tatsuo

I financed my 03 4runner V6 SR5 for 5 years through a local bank at 4.6%APR.

I paid $245 over the invoice price + advertising fees + doc fee.

Good luck!

I got 3.9% financing on a 60 month term for my V8 Limited 4x4. All options except for Navigation and Air Suspension, paid $300 over invoice.
Hope this helps!

Try peoplefirst.com I believe they have 3.99% the difference from 3.99 to 4.99 with $10,000 financed is only around $6 per month. Don't buy anything over invoice price. Hope it helps.

Yes, definitely get a quote from Peoplefirst. I can't say enough about how professional these guys are as well as their rates. If anything, get a quote from them and if the dealer can't beat it (TMCC), then go w/ Peoplefirst.

Make sure she has the Peoplefirst loan check in hand when she goes to the dealership. That's leverage for her.

I am getting a sport edition v8 4x4 for about 500$ under invoice, or about 4000$ off. They will only give $8000 for my 97 4runner SR5 with 115k miles, which is not great but not too bad either consider the chevy dealer would only give me 6500$ for it, and the honda dealer would only give me 7300$ with no discount on the pilot.

Angry Interest Rate

Bought an 03 4Runner SR5 4x4. Was able to get a 60-month 4.49% interest loan from South East Toyota Financing. As for what I paid the "stealer" for the car, after reading this website, I could of negotiated the same price on a limited UGGGHH!!

I just refinanced my truck yesterday with my credit union. I had 5.6% through Toyota Financial. The credit union was running a special on car loans for 3.8%. I kept the term the same term ( I had 46 payments left) and took the savings on the better rate. I am going to continue to make the same car payment and save about a year on the loan.

I paid $560 under invoice for a 2003 Sport V-8 2WD. Add tax, title, registration for out the door price.

Financed $19k for 48 months at 4.0%

A dealer in the St. Louis area is doing 0% on all Toyota's (4Runners included). Just saw it advertised on TV last night...

I believe that the invoice people are talking about is the sticker price on the window before all of the dealer extras are added on.

There is another invoice called the dealer cost. The dealer will never show you that number. That is the price that you want to shoot for.

Exclamation

Ask the Dealer for the option of buying down the interest rate, they don't advertise this you have to ask. This is for the other lease option also they give you around $4000.00 back at the end of your term.
This canada though.
