I found a 2000 tacoma that I am interested in. My question is, it is 4x4 and has the TRD package does it come with the factory electic locker?

I think it depends on the engine... for my 04, the locker was only available with the v6.

Make sure it just isnt stickers....my brothers taco one would think it was a trd but alas no....mine is and I pulled sr5 tacoma v6 emlbems off only one I left was trd because they will be biggest pain to pull. Point is look on the axle or in the cab for locker button, only way to be sure.

to add to this, one easy way to tell is if the rear diff drain plug is on the drivers side, then it has the locker, if its on the passenger side then it does not
