2000 4runner speaker replace

I'm looking to replace all of the speakers in my 2000 Toyota 4runner and don't have extra cash to have some installers over price me for their labor. I just got the Pioneer f900 Nav system and the stock speakers suck. I want to buy some speakers and install them myself. Can someone show pics of how to remove the panels where all the speakers are placed? I also need the sizes of all of the stock speakers so i know what to purchase. I don't want any subs (or anything crazy loud outside the car), but some good quality speakers inside the car.

Try to do a search... there are write ups for door panel removal, and all the speaker sizes.

Just for a quick note, 6.5's components for the front 5.25's for the rear or 6.5's with a little work.

I run Eclipse speakers all the way around, and plenty of bass to fill the cabin.

I buy my speakers from Crutchfield. Sometimes they're cheaper and other times more expensive. But they've got awesome customer service and will get you pictured instructions on how to install the speakers. Plus, their speakers come with everything necessary for the install, like brackets, harnesses, etc.

But taking off the panels is a cinch. Three screws and pull off.

I have a '97 so perhaps a 2000 will be different but, everyone told me 5.25's would fit in the rear doors.......they didn't by a ton!
I bought Polks, the 6.5's fit the front doors fine but, I had to chop the door panels to get the 5.25's in the rear doors.
I suggest pulling your panels and measuring everything first before buying, I wish I had.
I only went through with the cutting because I was doing the install just days before leaving for Myrtle Beach's Spring Rally and I bought the speakers during Circuit City's closing sale so they couldn't be returned and they don't fit anything else I own.
