After speaking with a rep from Mackin Industries, Volk will be building 20" TE37's in our application.

This wheel will be the newer design shown in the photo with over a 4" lip. It will fit flush with the 4runner limited flares which will make it a zero to negative offset wheel.

The wheel will weigh an estimated 21 lbs in a 20 x 9" application, which happens to be 1.5 lbs less than the stock 16 x 8" wheel. Their 18" application weighs in at 17.7 lbs, or 5 lbs less than the stock wheel. I don't know of any other wheel that compares in terms of weight. Most 20"s weigh well into the 30 to 35 lb range, 22"s into the 45 to 50lb range.

These wheels are not for the penny pinchers out there. These are for those of you that want the look of 20"s with little to no sacrifice in performance. There needs to be an interest of 10 sets for Volk to manufacture these as it will require a brand new mold. If a distributor would be willing to take it on, problem solved.

TE37 are some nice volks. If i had the money id put them on my Z, but having them for a 3rd gen 4runner might be nice also. I saw a 3rd gen with some volks, but i forgot what kind of volks they were. Too expensive for my blood...

Aside from being expensive ($600+ per wheel) I think they would look odd on a 4runner. Just my opinion though.

I have volk LE37t's on my Z, same as the TE37 but a limited edition for 2004-2005. I love the wheels but they are expensive.

Nice wheels on a sports car but mucho overkill on a truck and rediculous on an off road truck. Try t4r.org since they have a bit more members that like the oversize rims trend and might be interested.

Any chance you know the weight of one of your wheels plus the tire? I'm wondering if the smaller sidewall is truly packed with more material thus hypothetically making it heavier than the stock tire, (doubt it at only 2" smaller diameter). My guess is that the wheel and tire is lighter than the stock combination by more than just 5 lbs.

I been member here for a couple of years, and there are always haters.

I live in Central Florida, so I have a 2wd street truck that gets me to and from work. No need for a off-road machine for me, but I have respect for those of you that do.

TE37's are definately one of the top tuner wheels of all time. I don't see many with that much dish either.

Forged wheels are pretty tough.

I think they'd look great on a new Tundra. But on a 3rd gen. I don't know?
