2.7L IAC valve question
I'm still fighting this rough idle problem with my 97.
With a cold motor (just started in the morning), I turn on the A/C and my idle fluctuates from 600 to 1200 rpm, up and down until the motor gets kinda warm (no fluctuation if the A/C isn't turned on).
Once everything is warm, the truck idles OK with the A/C compressor kicked on but as soon as it kicks off, I get a rough idle.
I've tested the IAC per the manual but I still suspect that sucker has a problem.
Yes, it's been cleaned (TB is clean also).
Valves are fine. MAF cleaned. TPS OK. No vacuum leaks.
Another thought is the coolant temp switch.
Anyone with the same problem?
If it would throw a code, at least that would be a place to start.
