2.7 Tacoma Vibrates at
Greetings,
I have no trouble with the Taco except when I stop at a traffic signal, the trans in Drive, the engine vibrates. If I shift to neutral, the vibration stops. It is without question the engine doing the shaking. I've done the seafoam stuff twice and ran a few tanks of Sunoco 94 through,it does not help.
I could use some advice on where to start, ie: plugs, MAF, throttle body or just bring it to Toyota to service. It has 36,000 and it is a 2.7 4X4.
Thanks for any help.

i dont know alot about engines and troubleshooting. but since it doesnt vibrate when you are in nuetral, i would think to rule out the engine as the source of your problem. sounds like the problem occurs when you engage the transmission, so i would think to start there. time to flush your trans? go to synthetic fluid(s)?
sorry i cant be much help. i have the same truck in manual trans, never had that problem. maybe my ignorance will encourage more qualified responses.
good luck-

I heard the 2.7L 3rz motor can be a really shaky motor. Im sure it's fine till some extent. You might wanna check out "seafoam trans tune"
and auto-rx for the engine and transmission.
