2.7 Idle speed

2.7 Idle speed
Wow, just picked up a '97 2.7 4banger 4Runner w/ 95k miles on the clock. It goes along with the '96 Limited I have (200k miles and going strong).
I have not gotten a book on this engine yet. The idle speed seems high. Is there an easy adjustment? I don't see the adjusting screw like was on the old 1990 3.0 engine I used to have.
Also, quite amazed on this thing, it gets 29 mpg (w/ no 4wd)!
Seems like adequate power, so it makes a great teenage daughter vehicle.
Does the removing of baffles and inlet elbow help this engine like it did on my 3.4 engine?
Just finished clay bar'ing, polishing and waxing the vehicle. Used Turtle wax "ice" on it with real nice results. It is a ton easier then the Griots Garage Best in Show wax. Super plus factor is that the Turtle Wax is also used on the plastic parts. So no whiting of the plastic. Really Cool. Time will tell on durability.
