2.7 header replacement

I noticed I can hear a ticking sound when motor is starting after sitting long enough to get cold. Once warm it goes away. I found this thread on here: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/o...l-pics-157752/

So I ordered the header for an 01 and the gasket kit from Toyota dallas and its suppose to be delivered tomorrow. Just curious if there's anything I need to know (not covered in old thread above) to make install any easier?

thanks,

I ended up being lazy and let a shade tree mechanic do this swap and I'm very pleased with how the truck runs now. Motor noise in the cab is very quite now, noticed a small increase in power especially when running in to high a gear and the trucks starts to bog. Before I'd have to down shift, now it just pulls itself back up to "normal" rpm range. As I suspected the old cast manifold was cracked in between cyls 2 & 3 and the o-ring gaskets where the manifold meet the collector were burnt up pretty good.
