1st gen //rear window does not work please help

take off the rear left (drivers side) corner panel for the top. there is a connector there, disconnect the connector, then try again. This will disconnect the wiper relay for the rear window.
If it still doesn't work, there may be a problem witht the relay behind the drivers side back seat.
There are 3 different relays that have to work before the window will go down, you have to check them all. it is a common problem.
Also, be sure to check with the switch AND the key!

rear window
hi dont know whether you have sorted it yet but i spent 2 days going over the relays harness etc it turned out to be the park switch on the rear wiper it looked as if it was closed but pushing it a little bit further everything jumped into life always the last and easiest thing...........also if the harness is disconnected in the rear pillar the window will not work because the the electrics think the top is off also 1/2 way along the removable top one bolt in particular has to be in as this presses on a switch also telling the relays the top is off on my 1st gen its on the l/h side
