I really like those flares. Do you have any pictures of the overall truck?

Heres the truck before mods to show you the flares on it (bushwacker). Downey Offroad made the ifs truss, it cost like $45.00 roughly. Sound insurance for when you nose

Looks great,
You can re-route all that crap on your valve cover to clean it up some more and make v/c removal a snap. Also lose your sway bar , it'll help off road a little. I did'nt notice that much more body roll on road w/o it. Again nice 1st gen. It's good to see more on this site. What's next on your list? mike ![]() Here's mine

I'm digging the fender flares big time. Those are my first choice if and when I decide to fork over the money for them.

Yup, rain... rain... rain! As for the engine bay, just some armour all and elbow grease. 4XJEDI, nice rig! I like that bikini top!!! I am just starting to clean up the interior in this one. The suspension just consist of re-arced reaer spring's w/extra leaf, rancho out back, pro comp up front, bigger stabilizer, low pro bump stops, ball joints... Simple mods mostly. Next thing I think will be a cb radio. Maybe re-oaint the tube doors I got with it?

The top itself is for an FJ-40 from Bestop. I make and sell the installation kits for the 1st. gen Runners., or you can fab one up yourself. Some guys like the CJ tops but I think they're a little too short. Thanks,
mike Lets see some more 1st. gen pics! BTW, Here's my kit
