1994 toyota pickup. please give your opinion.
hello fellow toyota people's.
ive been in the market for a used pickup and found a really good conditioned 1994 toyota pickup. it has 121k miles, automatic, 4 cyclinder, regular cab. the dealership wants 4800$ and i think it comes with a 1yr warranty. what do you guys think? how many miles should i be looking to get out of it? i will be mostly using this truck to commute from home to work, about 60 miles a day.
please post your opinions. i always get nervous when buying a used car, but its all i can afford right now. is there any inspections i can do to the vehicle before i purchase it?
thanks.

Hey! Welcome to the forums!
Is the truck a 4x4? IMO, the price seems a bit high, especially if it is a 2wd truck. Now, if it were extended cab and 4x4, that may not be too bad of a price. I think you can find one cheaper though, but maybe not in as good condition. You're probably paying some for the warranty. (pretty nice that it comes with one, by the way) I've heard of of people getting a lot of miles out of those 4 cylinder engines. I met a guy a few months ago that had over 500,000 miles on his '83 truck. Had his second engine (drove the first one for 150 miles with no oil or coolant), but he hasn't done a thing to the tranny except for 3 or 4 cluthes. So, if taken care of, the 20R and 22R(E) engines are very good. Probably the best 4 cylinders out there, in my opinion.
Well, have fun.
