1993 4runner Headgasket Or Two Blown
I have a 1993 4Runner with a blown head gasket. I filled it up with water and few minutes later had white smoke pouring out the exaust like a fumigator. I have never done a head gasket on a 3.0 but have done many on other motors. Is there anything I should look out for. Also how hard is it to do and roughly how long to do the job.

I don't know how many miles you have on this truck but check with your local Toy dealer, it might be under warranty yet! 1990> and the truck can't have over 100,000 miles on it! So, if your truck don't have 100,000 on it, guess what? Toyota will replace it for free!! It's called the V06 Campaign!
In the event that you have to do it yourself, get your heads redone. Another tip I give people is when you pull the head bolts out, take them and put them into a piece of cardboard, that way you will know exactly where the go when it comes time to put her back together and a camera helps also!
* Good Luck Don!

Yes you too can rebuild your 3VZE in the comfort of your own living room.
Also don't believe the hype on having to have the DOA studs one guy on here has gone through that hell already. Just get some replacement OEM headbolts if you aren't reusing the old ones. Yes I second the knock sensor wire as well I should have done mine.... Oh well...
