1990 4runner O/D Light Flashing????
just bought a 90 runner, while driving the over drive off light flashes anyone know what this means?

Someone's done a write up about that here, so try doing a "search" for OD light and see what comes up.

is it a method patterned flash? or jsut a freak every once and awhile thing?

The OD light flashing means one of two things.... 1) either the speedo cable is broke. 2) there is an issue with the transmission fluid temp (could mean tranny problems)

mine done it b/c of a shift solinoid, sorry bout the spelling.
