I think I've seen pics of these on one but can't find the thread. Does anyone have one or pics of one? is the offset the same or are spacers needed? Also, what are all the tire sizes that will fit on them? Thanks

Same lug pattern, 6x5.5 then they should fit.

If you want tire sizes you need to search a tire site like Tirerack.

I know they will fit, i was hoping for pics and to find out if i will need a spacer or not depending on the backspacking. thanks...

It will depend on what size tires you're planning on going for. If you will have 255's or 265's, they will likely fit without rubbing the upper control arm, but 285's or bigger will require wheel spacers. The Tacoma rims will have about a 1/4" more BS that your stock rims, so your track width will end up about .5" narrower than stock as well.

I'm puzzling through a very similar bit of math myself. After sifting through YotaTech all over, I've still not found a good thread for tire & wheel sizes on the third-gen 4Runner, or for 17"s in particular. It's possible I've missed it, though, because there is a ton of info on this site.

From twat I've defected so far (Hah! Love doing that...) From what I've detected so far, up to a 275/70/17 should fit, but that can be affected by backspacing. I've ordered a set of the new Kevlar MT/Rs in that size, and I'm trying to puzzle if the 17x8 Pro-Comp Series 99 will work - it's got 4.5" backspacing. I've got to fit whatever wheel I select over the big Tundra brake swap, though - I've already mounted the 231mm kit.

For the record, my 265/75/16 (got that? 16") Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors fit with no rub and no interference on a stock-height gen-three 4Runner, so the 265 looks okay. In theory, the 275 will be tighter and might need a little clearance work, but the 75/16 and the 70/17 should be close to a wash (though I've heard the new MT/Rs run a little thick).

Any problems you run into won't be due to tire width, or backspace from the sound of it. In some cases backspacing can become an issue on stock backspace rims (stock backspace is 4.625" for 5-spoke 16x7 alloys) with 285x75r16's, but that's usually only some rubbing on the upper control arm at full droop.

I'm running 17x7.5" rims with an effective backspace of 4.1" and 285x70r17's, and they clear the upper control arm by a little over a 1/2". Based on that, I think 4.5" backspace rims will probably be fine.

Due to the offset they are going to look way too set in with your Limited fender flares. If looks are not what you are worried about, then fitment won't be a problem unless you go to a 285 series tire. Basically you can run 265/65/r17 which will be essentially stock size, or 265/70/r17 which will be basically a 32" tire. This will fit also, but you may need to trim a little in your wheel wells and spacers will not solve this but only change where they rub. If you choose to go up to a 285 series tire, you absolutely will rub the upper control arms.

If he runs rims with 4.5" backspace, he won't rub the UCA with 285's.

Right, but this thread is about putting 17" Tacoma wheels on a 4Runner and those have about 5" of backspacing or more. I have Taco wheels on my 4Runner with 1.25" spidertrax spacers and have less than 1" of room between tire and UCA.
