17 or 16 tires
Hope someone can give a little advice
Have a 2000 tundra with 16" plain wheels and would like to replace with 17inch wheels from a 4runner sport 2003. Should I have any problems?
Or is this a good idea? thanks

You shouldn't have any issues in terms of the wheels fitting, however check the load rating on the tires vs what you do with the Tundra.
There is not a lot of LT rated 17" tires, which will limit the ability for the Tundra to carry weight. SO just check.

Aren't the offset different and the BS? I thought that the 4th gen wheels didn't fit the Tundra's?
That was my understanding... I could be wrong. Might want to test fit them to ensure proper fitment prior to buying.

Apparently some guys fit the Sequia wheels on their Runners, and I assume the Tundra and sequia (can never get the spelling corret) are the same. But valid points, so do a test fit and also a weight rating check.
