15x8's on a 2nd Gen - What backspacing are you running?

Chime in please - there are a few different dimensions available. This (along with the poll I posted recently) will help me make my final decision on wheels. My inspection is up at the end of October, so it's time to make the move!!

I have PP coils at the rear and will be adding a 1" BL before switching. I want little to no rubbing while wheelin'. I'll be pounding the fender seam at the time of the BL install also. This is so I can go from my BFG AT 32's to <to be determined> 33's.

Thanks for the input....

OK guys, what's the BS??

I have 4" of backspacing.

My fender seam is ground down and has been thoroughly assaulted with a hammer.

My rears rub the frame even with the bumpstop extension from Downey.

I have a 1" bodylift on a 95. The tires are MT/R's.

I would also like to know about the backspacing.

I am considering getting a set of 15x8 rock crawlers in the next month or so and was wondering what backspacing I should get. I would like the wheels to stick out of the wheel well more than the stock wheels are. I couldn't remember if it was more backspacing = less sticking out, or less = less sticking out.

Anyway, sorry to take over the thread man...just thought I would chime in and say I am in the same boat as you.

Fink

Just to help out....I think you are right, more backspacking = less tire sticking out.
