15" rims on 16" stcok rigs
Just thought it might interest some people that there are apparently some 15" steelies that will fit on vehicles that came with 16" stock rims. I haven't tried these or anything, just passing along the info.

16's will fit, but you may then you need to consider a few other things. If you want to keep your stock tire height, you need to cut down the height of the sidewalls, this is affected by the aspect ratio, and the width, since the aspect ratio is a percentage of the width. (This is if you have metric tires.) If it is measured in inches, like 30x9.5 R 15, then just get 16" rims, and 30x9.5 R16's, or play with the width(the 9.5) if you want to. If you want to change tires sizes height or width, there is a lot more to consider, so if you do, start a new thread, because it can take a while to sort through everything there.

scratch that section about the metric sizes!! If you have metric size, and want to change any sizes, be it width, height, or rim size, tell us what size, and we will try to explain. I apologize for the sad excuse of an explanation, my wording was a little too vague and i used a few too many slang terms. I have been hanging out with those import guys too much again. If there is one group that has a slang term for every possible aspect of a car, its them.
