10% OFF RETAIL @ Toyota
Here's my idea.
I have a certificate for 10% off all retail gear at my local Toyota dealer in Portland, OR! Oregon has no sales tax!
So what if we were to do a group by to save some people money? Lots of states have sales tax, atleast 5% I think, in most states.
So figure that if you need something and you want it from Toyota, and shipping costs less then if you bought it retail and paid sales tax, might be able to help you save money on some of your purchases.
I'm in Portland, Oregon (ZIP 97221). Live close, and we could arrange a drop off to avoid shipping costs!
I need some things, and why waste a "10% off on next purchase on retail items from Toyota" on saving $1.39 on a fog light toggle switch for my self. It just seemed wrong, espishally after I found my new power steering pump will be almost $400 brand new to replace.
Question, Comments, Heartless Criticism?
Admins: I'm sorry if I put this in the wrong forum.

IF
RETAIL $ - 10% + S&H < RETAIL $ + TAX
THEN
You save some $$$
RETAIL $ - 10% + S&H < RETAIL $ + TAX
THEN
You save some $$$

That's not very good, just contact www.trdparts4u.com and you will get about 30% off retail list, also the local toyota dealer "list" price is actually List price + 10 or 20%. I found trdparts4u from yotatech too, they seem to have a good reputation and I recieved a reply about my parts request in about a day.

The 10% coupon I often get in the mail here is only good on any one item. Does yours say that on it? Something to take into consideration.
I agree with the other guys, parts places like TOR will provide a greater discount anyway. Nice of you to offer this though.

Sorry didn't mean to come off as a jerk, just don't care much for the local Portland Metro Toyota dealers, you can definitely do better. I have price shopped Broadway, Vancouver, and Tonkin(?), they are all way over true List price.

I'll take jerk who saves me money over a sweetie any day.
Thanks for all the online shops as well.
I knew the Metro dealers were ˟˟˟˟˟˟ with me when the guy was trying to talk to me about what year and generation it was. I should have told him to go wipe his camry with a diaper or something, but I refrained. I was merely sore for the $14 the damned fog light switch cost me.
firemedic, thanks again. People like you are why I come here, thanks for the help!
