$10 Fender Flare Mod (pics)
This may not apply to everyone, but I still would like to hear your input.
On my Runner, I absolutely hated the chrome fender trim that came with my ride. After repeated attempts to get my hands on the fatter black SR5 molding - but to no avail, I had to improvise.

In my opinion, my rig looks much better. I have all the pics of the install, so I can do a full write-up if there is enough demand. So what do you guys think? Shoud I do the write-up?

Seems I'm not the only one who hates chrome finish. I also have started to turn my black '90 4R over to the dark side. Except for my new grill and roof rails everything has to go.
I already ordered black doorhandels etc.
How did you get the paint to stick to the chrome? I would like to paint my chrome mirrors but only when the paint sticks really well.

Just like anything else, its all about proper prep, primer, and paint. If you dont mind holding on a bit, I will send Corey the full write-up (dont worry Corey, it will be in the correct format
) and you will be on your way.
