you can't get the granite trim that comes with the limited if you get a sport can you? also, the sport comes w/ 13.1" brakes or something like that while the limited and sr5 come with 12.6" brakes. Ok why would anyone get the v8 when the v6 has 10 more horsepower, same towing capacity, is a lot lighter, more fuel efficient, and probably faster. the only downside is that is has less torque and is a 4speed auto intsead of the 5speed but it doesn't have more towing capacity but i guess maybe the full-time 4wd is better than the v6's multi-4wd? what do you think?
I hate how you can't get the best of the Sport model and the Limited model. I want some things from the Sport and some from the Limited but a lot of the things are mutually exclusive which sucks! |

I personally would goto a Toyota Dealership and ask them about the 2003's. I really doubt that many people one this forum can help you out about this, especially since the '03s have only been available for about 5 days now.
Sorry I can't help ya out with this. -Braden

sorry...
guess i got spoiled at jeepunlimited.com - there are a lot of Daimler-Chrysler guys on that forum and always have the good stuff and then there's buzz sites like car-truck etc. and people I know at BMW that give out BMW info. Sheesh I wish I knew a Toyota design guy that had all the good info - wouldn't it be great to know if they were going to nix the gray bumpers a couple of months down the line? haha I wish I was high up in Toyota and I could tell them to increase ground clearance, put some real fenders in, unbubblefy the exterior, keep the rotary a/c dials, add normal stout looking 5 spoke rims, and um don't EVER get rid of the rear power window

I agree with ya, hopefully a few months down the line, once the 4th Gens become more abundant, there will be some different options, and some aftermarket stuff for them. I'm not ditching my '91 4Runner anytime soon though (I like it too much, and I definitely can't afford a new truck
) But if I could buy a new truck, I would be seriously considering a 2003 4Runner.-Braden
