'03 Fuel Lid Release Problem
I went to fill up earlier this week, pulled the fuel lid release, got out of the truck, only to see the lid still closed.
Pull the release again, keeping an eye on the lid, and don't see it move. Pull the release again, with enthusiasm, and now the lid is barely open.
Anything I can check here, or is it time to make that first warranty trip to the dealer?

my mom's saab did that. you could try bending the latch out a little, so it won't hook as good. you might have to play around with it a bit so its in just the right spot.
that is... if you have the same type of latch on there.

If it's like the 3rd gens, there's a little spring that forces the door out. On mine, I had to bend/stretch it out a little so that it would have more pushing force. I say spring, but it's more like an angled metal tab under tension. I just uncompressed it a little and the door swings wide open now when I pull the fuel door release tab.
