Engine is a 03 3.4 out of a tacoma that has been swapped into a 92. I am using a manual ECU and trans. The truck runs and drives great, but when I am in first going slow and floor the throttle the truck revs about 1000rpm from current rpm then completely shuts off for a second then will continue to rev until red line. It does not matter what rpm you start from but if you slowly roll into it it will not die and rev like it should until red line. It does not do this at higher speeds. The engine does not miss or anything. It acts like you shut it off. No check engine light. This is the first 3.4 I have swapped that had ECTS. I have done many earlier 3.4 swaps with no issues. I am pretty sure everything is hooked up correctly. Maybe I missed something?
