Ok, I have a question for all the 03 owners with the cladding. I plan on waxing my truck this weekend and was wondering what kind of protectant I can use on the cladding or what people are using to help protect against the sun and environment. I plan on keeping my 03 for a long time and hope to keep the cladding color from fading too much in this supposedly sunny state.

Long as you wash and wax the truck weekly you should not have a problem with the cladding fadding the cladding should outlive the life of the truck, I had a 96 Pathfinder with similar cladding and a 2000 pathfinder with plastic door handles and mud flaps similar to the plastic cladding, the biggest problem with the plastic cladding is not getting wax on it cause you will see the white, big pain in the ass.

They have stuff in the autoparts stores for cleaning the cladding sort of like making the tires shinny you can make the cladding shinny, anything that treats plastic just read the bottle, stuff like Mothers Back to Black also good for covering up the wax.
