03 4Runner Lift with CSC Coilover Lift???

I call my local lift shop to inquire about lift kits for my 03 4runner. The owner told me that in two weeks they will have a set from CSC suspension. The kit will give 3.5" lift and cost about $750.

Has anyone heard of this company? I try to find information about them and found nothing.

He also told me that fabtech is also working on a kit for the 03 as well. I called fabtech and they deny anything about it. I don't know who to believe. Anyone heard about this too?

you will not get 3.5" of lift unless it invloves dropping your crossmember (highly doubt it).

you should plan on a 2.5" MAX for lift, just like the 3rd gens.

I'm pretty sure that CSC is line of suspension systems made by Explorer Pro Comp. It stands for Coil Spring Conversion. They are currently made for Jeep YJ's made from 79-95. Maybe he was referring to Explorer Pro Comp?

I wouldn't trust anyone that says any ADD vehicle will give more than 2.5~3" of lift. Due to the limitation of our axles, at extreme angles it'll just eat it up and destroy it. Yes we can get alot of lift 3+ but that is not recommended unless you plan to not drive your truck. If you look at all the other yota's with a suspension lift, they won't go beyond the 3" mark. There's a reason to that so it's best to keep it that way.

Other things to consider. Even if they have lifts for the front, whatcha plan to do w/ the rear? You're gonna have to have some decent rear lift in order to lift the front as it'll be funny looking driving nose high! Currently you're options are to go with a spacer setup on the rear or you can wait for Downey to release their rear setup (coil/shock).

The only Coilover company that I know current that has anything is Downey and Sway-A-Way. Everyone else is either not saying anything or just waiting for the big 2 companies to make their set so they can copy their designs. Anyway just to give ya some info, I'm working along side Downey and we finally got a test production on my truck. The setup is clean and is running very great We're anticipating full shelf stocks by march/april. (depends on production but we're pushing for mar/apr). They are already selling the units for just the front coilover and also the rear shock/coil too so if you're interested, give them a call and order away! (562) 949-9494. I"m not sure on the exact prices of the Downey coilover but you are free to call them and ask! Sway-A-Way is also making their coilover kit but I'm not sure when their release date is. I'm pretty sure it's right about now as both Downey and SAW has been working this project for about the same length of time.

Other lifts to consider which are on shelves:
Revtek Spacers
Daystar Spacers

Good Luck!
