02 Tacoma temp gauge at the 9:30 position.

Anyone know why my 02 Tacoma temperature gauge always runs at the 9:30 position? It is a V6 2WD crew cab with only 75K miles. I have changed the thermostat, the radiator and fan clutch all with OEM Toyota parts. I had it checked with a computer and it runs at 204 degrees F winter and summer. Any help will be appreciated.

If it's steady, I wouldn't worry about it. 204 isn't bad.

Here's what mine sits at.. And that was me pushing it on a 60* day.

You could've installed the thermostat upside down. There's a jiggle valve that needs to be at the 6 o'clock position, and if you put it at the 12, you'll run hotter.

Gas gauge doesn't work. I still had ~3/4 a tank when I took that picture.
