'01-'02 Speedhut Reverse Indiglo HVAC Gauges

Guys,
I wanted to put up this poll to see how many '01-'02 owners would be interested in the Speedhut white face HVAC indiglo gauges. I'd be willing to find and send in a guinnea pig panel, if we can get together enough people to get the tooling started. I figure it will take 10-20 people. How many of you would be interested in these to match your instrument panel gauges? I think it would add some much needed spice to the otherwise boring center dash section. Let me know what you think.

Matt

It doesn't bother me at all. I wired everything to the stock dimmer switch so I can turn it down if I want.

Gotcha. Do indiglows fade after a number of years? Also, are the bulbs behind the HVAC plate green or do they have the little condoms on them?

They have the green condoms on them. There's three of them.

Sonic,
Would you mind taking a daytime picture of those LEDs in your dash and emailing them to me? My email is MAverett@bham.rr.com Later.

Kevin,
You may be able to get the '00 HVAC gauges. I think the ones out there on the market (maybe not Speedhut) are good through the year 2000 models. You'll have to do some searching on the internet, but I think you can get them already.

I don't understand the lighup pedal covers;it's too disco for me but I like the guages without the big glowing ring in the middle like these for a 3rd gen http://www.procarparts.com/store-det...=onlinestoreDB

Too bad they only make 'em for the '96-'98 models.

I am interested if they are blue gauges, and not as bright with the rings in the center.

I'm setup as a dealer for speedhut. When you get the 10-12 people let me know. I can probably save you guys some money. I'm pretty much a dealer for any brand now.

I think we're a long way off from having enough for them to start the tooling. I think it takes 20 pre-orders before they start tooling, and someone will have to send in a 2001+ panel so that they can make the gauge from it. This one may take longer than the original Speedhut instrument panel gauges took, if it ever happens. It would be cool though.....
