'00 4Runner ARB locker gearing
I have been reading alot about changing gears when installing ARB lockers to front and rear. I'm wondering if it is necessary to change gear when installing ARB lockers (front/rear) to a stock '00 4Runner sr5 4wd. I'm sorry if this has been posted before i have search but can't find anything similar. a link to a post that would answer this question would suffice.

required .. no
recommended yes .. only reason is its cheaper if your doing front and rear lockers, and upgrading to 33" or larger to do it all at the same time ... and I mean cheaper in a very relative form .. its not cheap

Well from here I would be interested in learning about gearing both front and rear. Considering I'm very new at this is there a site that breaks down gears (front and rear), the differences in gears and effects on the 4runner's performance??
