Nice 1st gen 4Runner! It's even cooler since it has been part of your family forever.

Your buddy's 3rd Gen is badass!

thanks, if i didnt already have this runner and the 82 4x4, i would have flown out and picked up your runner to have next to mine.
the monster 3rd gen is bad ass. got to go for a few rides and he goes everywhere. he's wants to make it even lower. oh it use to be 2wd and he made it 4wd

from today

buddy made himself a girlfriend

installed some 1.25 inch wheel spacers and went to the snow to play
drove into an area i never been before and the runner just feel into a trap
water have been running below so it was pretty much hollowed out under the snow i was driving on.... still open diffs... no winch. just a shovel and nature lol
30 minutes or so, i finally got out with a shovel and rocks. oh plus my driving skills lol

from today

dont mind the bumper. looking at doing an ARB bumper and winch soon

i love the snow lol only cuz im under built for it and i can hang with better rigs and surprise those i run into that im open diff. the look on their faces are priceless.

its melting but not fast enough. its pretty slushy on areas that have been driven on and the center is pretty hard. i can only get to the trail head of bald. without a winch or lockers i dont wanna slid down into a tree.

its funny cuz the very 1st time i been wheeling, i made it so much farther with ALOT more snow(into bald mt trail) had no mods other than 32s and headers

Thing is looking sick! Love the white'ns!

I have to get a hold of a Yotatechie I met while eating out one night.... He recognized my pic with my daughters and saw my truck outside the restaurant, .... He said, "Are you ChefYota4x4???" hahahaha. Anyway, he said, "I have all my goodies from the IFS days, including a full bumpstop kit and more, ...you can have it, give me a PM and we'll hook up!"

Did it work on the uptravel? I am leery of installing the droop ones, .....as I don't want too much binding or torn boots! lol
