ok, finally did a mod lol well i do have the downey headers so my second mod
got around to doing the zuk mod after a friend of mines gave me a brand new set of 98 runner coil springs
they are 16 inches long. i didnt have to cut or do any mods. just install them which is awesome
i had a 1 inch sag in the rear and after the install i wanna say it raised it 4 inches. anyone know how much lower the rear fender is cut compared to the front? this will give me a better idea of how much these springs raised the rear

used spring compressors, removed shock, removed u bolts and dropped it enough to install them

top of rear fender to top of rim is 14 inches
dont drive this runner often but it does ride a little bit softer. guess being 16 inches compared to the normal 14 inch spring, its not as soft
doesnt make any noise and it does clear the tires

The 14 inch "skinny" coils that I like to see under the Runners are either 100,125 or 150 pounds/inch rated. That's a fairly soft rate and the ride is very nice as a result. Your 16 inch coils are unknown to me so maybe they are a bit firmer. I can tell you this....I bet you have a ton of payload ability now

ps---keep the snow pics coming
I'd say keep the full 16 inch coil and maybe get some front ball joint spacers for a modest 1.5" lift or so and there ya go....you'll have one of the most economical front/rear lifts out there.

thanks zuk. so far i plan on keeping the full 16 for now as i like the lift. i did load up a set of 33s with rims in the rear and man did it ride so much nicer. much softer ride indeed. i load up a decent amount of stuff when i roll out to the trails so im sure im gonna be happy with how it is for now. i just got my BJ spacers and i have to say it looks pretty even to me. well the front is still a little lower but once i load up, it should even out pretty good.

unload with 3/4 tank. i measure at FRONT 14" 3/4 REAR 14" 1/4

got to try out a mild lift i got. zuk mod made the ride much much smoother. being all slushy and lots of bumps thru out the trail. it absorbed the trail so much better than last time. so after going up snow wheeling ever the second time i got a basic idea of what i want to do next:

4.88 gears
Toyota E-Locker Rear
Longer Shocks (havent figured out length)

so if u know anyone with what i need. lmk thanks for looking
