Thanks guys.
The issue i am actually having, which you can't see so well, is that the black edging i am using doesn't like to turn, even when heated. So i will wait for the warmer months and find some slimmer/thinner edging that won't buckle.
i started the passenger panels last night, these may be prototyped because i want to do some diamond pleating to dress them up a bit. I am also installing the 3-point seat belts on the roll bar, so the passenger panels need to have the hole filled where the retractor used to live. Plus they have the SR5 cubby hole, with a dim light i am installing....stay tuned!

So if I am running the inverter with the truck off, battery drain can easily be monitored. I figure if the truck is off and running the inverter, I'll probably be out/in back.

The inverter is suppose to have a safety, but i would rather have a back-up. plus it was an extra gauge i had left over from the Montero/Pajero clinometer/compass pod. I hope by the spring to have the dual batteries installed, but i should have my MR2(100amp) alternator in after the first of the year.

Looks awesome! I like your idea about the voltmeter! Two more quick questions: did the drywall inserts come with screws, or did you need to match them separately? Also, where did that latch you have on the rear cubby-who come from? It looks perfect.

I used #10 course thread stainless steel screws from BoltDepot.com. Since the plastic inserts are pretty forgiving you don't really need to have a screw that matches exactly.
the latches are cheap ones i found on Amazon.com. I just took a hole saw and cut out the old (read: useless and brittle) latch from the cubby door.
I am going to try to finish the other side tonight so i will have the rear finished. I also have my passenger panels ready for installation, i think they turned out alright, they'll due for now until i get the diamond pleating and perforated aluminum fitted to trim it out.
Ill get some pics up of what i have so far tonight.

Lights in the rear, iPhone camera, sorry. my panels are finished but I'm not happy with the black edge trim around the aluminum, I'll have to wait until spring to get something more pliable.
These photos where shot at night, used the flash to show the panel, then turned off the flash to show the light coverage. I also need to replace the stained and sun beaten carpet...later. And the tailgate will be getting a new panel later also....work in progress.

Plywood? No, just the original stained cover.
I want to dim the LEDs down a bit so they are just barely noticeable... Enough light to see the cubby.
