Went snow wheeling with a sad ending. Driving in the snow the engine lost all power. So now I'm left trying to figure out what happened. I also destroyed my sidewall on one of my tires. Brandons purple tacoma with SAS D44 3 link and Symons extra cab that is LS power and D60s links F&R. Luckily enough, Symon gave me a tow from Payson to Phoenix to get my runner home.

I got the truck up and running again. My fuel pump relay was corroded (on the ORS harness) and I replaced my EFI relay and fuse (both on the drivers kick panel) I unplugged every connection I could and she fired up. I lost my TG resovoir cap, they don't sell replacements, a 60s Chevy gas cap works nicely. This time I included a safety chain.

Went wheeling at Table Mesa on Anaconda, Predator, and Lower Terminator with Gabriel. I ended up taking a line on LT and my bald, muddy MTR's didn't like it. Muddy tires slipped and tried throwing me over, luckily Gabe was there to save me.

Well I made a little "boo boo" on the final obstacle on Anaconda. Fender, door and cab took a good amount of damage. Door still works though. I need to hammer the door to get the window to be able to roll down all the way. Other than that, I'm loving my 39's. they get great traction in the rocks. Just not when its wet outside. Hopefully going to make it to the Parker poker run this year.

Well a few new exciting things. I picked up a parts truck for my to fix my 1987 4x4 pickup and it came with a nice cab. One thing lead to another and here we are. I'm in the process of reinstalling all of my wiring and making a lot of fixes to things that I've been neglecting. I've added new body mount bushings and a 4crawler 1" body lift to help clear my RAD triple sticks. Lots more work left, but it should be done in the next couple of weeks.

I broke down a few of the engine updates into a few posts to make it easier to explain everything. I sold my 3RZ. I picked up a 1JZGTE VVTI from a JZX110 from Japan with 45k miles. Installed an Act clutch, Xcessive motor mount adapters, DriftMotion light weight pulley, and a rear sump oil pan. Apparently I didn't get a picture of it, but I also installed a Future Fabrication downpipe.
The passenger side motor mount had to be notched for the turbo oil return line.
These are the motor mounts I used:
