Well shortly after I made this thread, my brother wanted the truck back.

(won't go too much into detail)
Traded the Honda sedan for a Honda hatch, traded that for a Suzuki 600, sold that, got a 80 vw caddy, sold that, got a 81 vw rabbit hatch.
Rebuilt most of the car, included the original 1.6 diesel, had the head checked. It ended up failing destroying the head and pistons. Picked up a 1.9 diesel for it. So while that's in progress I need a vehicle. GUESS WHAT'S FOR SALE?! The 4runner! So it's mine again. Nothing's changed on it since the above posts.

4runner doing work giving rabby a tow.

^just because I love the way the car is coming along.

Now for business.
4runner has some serious business that needs to be addressed.
Driveshaft is shot and had elongated holes.
Trans squeals 5th gear (go G series!)
Broken front shock tab
Clogged cat
Timing issue

So since I can handle pretty much everything but the timing issue fairly easy, I'm just gonna give her a full tune up and see what happens.
O2 sensor
Plugs
Cap
Rotor
Wires
All new vaccum hoses
Go from there...

They were a junkyard special. They are the Yakima gutter clamp system.

I've also decided to add a couple pictures of some of the other cars I've owned.

Blah blah blah. Cars. All gone now.

81 pickup I got into an accident with.
S10 had a built 350 swap that blew the tranny the second day.
Honda sedan had a b16 swap that was grinding 3rd.
Honda hatch was more beater than anything lol.
Vw coupe was a entry way to vws for me.

This is a link for my build thread on the rabbit if anybody is interested.

"Sad in the face", hahaha... Love it! (Not the damage, but rather, the line! ) Yep, she's sporting an overbite... but you'll get her all fixed up, no doubt! Cool on the other cars... Was just thinking about my buddies Cyclone... THAT THING WAS SICK! Very fast PU... Lots of fun to drive. Then he traded it in for a Typhoon and wrecked it THAT DAY! Never know what's gonna head into your lane at any given moment, eh?

Small update. Picked up a couple driveshafts that were suppose to work but didn't.
Picked up a 2nd gen manual 4cyl dshaft, 1-1.5 in. Too long.
Picked up a dshaft off of ttora that was a double jointed mod. .5 in. Too long.
Traded the double jointed for a stock rear shaft straight across. He threw in a couple goodies too. Awesome guy. Staceman off of ttora.

He threw in a rear ifs housing that has TG diff armor on it
Toyota oil filter
Toyota spark plugs
And some of his time to go over his truck with me

I've replaced the cap, rotor, wires, air filter, o2 sensor, and my cracked taillights.
I'll be replacing the spark plugs, and vacuum hoses this weekend. Along with throwing in a cheap radio. Need some tunes to jam too.
I'll also be looking into a rear portioning valve delete since mines all sorts of broken.
I'm looking for a semi straight front passenger fender. So I can swap on my new grille, corner lights and hood.
Working on getting the front suspension situated. Trying to find my swaybar.

Hey, if you really wanna stay cheap but functional on the radio.... Try PepBoys, AZ(not sure if they have them out there... Can't remember from when I lived there! hahaha)........ I saw a Kenwood radio with remote and 2 6.5" Kenwood speakers, all in a package deal, for 79$! That IS CHEAP, and yet it's not a terrible radio... My buddy grabbed one on a rush before he headed back home(he works out here) for jaunt.... And didn't wanna commit to a high end double din just yet, hahaha... So 'for the time being', he grabbed that................. HE STILL HAS IT, 2 years later! hahaha. Has preouts and everything... not bad, right?

Make sure you DO PICS AND INSTRUCTIONS on the 'LSPV Delete', k? hahaha.. I'm assuming you're gonna add a Summit Racing valve up front? Maybe do some discs in back? haha....

I'm still wanting to do the Tacoma V6 Calipers and Booster/Master upgrade with disc in back... But WOW, I just don't have time to tackle that just yet, haha... LONG list to get through first... and my braking system is all pretty much new, front to back... BUT, nonetheless, I might be having to do an LSPV(?) Mod, granting I do a Chebby 63 or something like that.

Best wishes on it all... I have a Spartan Locked 4;30 Rear... Whatcha want for that thing? In case I grenade mine? hahaha.
